The Manitoba Farm Safety Program is a non-profit organization administered by Keystone Agricultural Producers (KAP).

How We Are Funded

FSP is funded through the Canadian Agriculture Partnership (CAP; formerly 'Growing Forward 2'), a federal-provincial grant program aimed at strengthening Canada's agriculture and agri-food sector.

KAP applied and received two-year funding from Growing Forward 2 in 2016 to establish the Farm Safety Program. In 2018, KAP reapplied to the CAP and was approved for five-year funding to 2023. KAP is in the process of developing a sustainable funding model for the Farm Safety Program to ensure it's continuation after 2023.

While FSP is a program of KAP, a KAP membership is not required to access FSP's services. All farmers are our clients.

FSP also receives financial support from the commodity group supporters below. Interested in partnering with us? Download our partnership package or contact our communications staff, Renée Simcoe at (204) 924-6018 or to discuss how we can work together.
